Hello and welcome to my blog!

I was born in London in 1977, and I now live in Italy with my Italian husband and our two children in the countryside in Liguria, near the Cinque Terre where we have a small farm and grow and sell our fresh produce in markets around Liguria.

I specialise in traditional oil painting techniques such as preparing my own canvases the traditional way and following painting techiniques used by the Great Masters while being inspired by 19th and 20th century landscape painters.  I paint both in my studio and out and about painting plein air wherever I go because its great to be painting and enjoying the world go by!  All my paintings are done from life and some finished in the studio because for me it is the most satisfying way to capture the light and the spirit of a painting.
